Dear Worktrotters,
here is a program we've been asked to share with you. It can help some of you to get into the Danish jobmarket.

Kvinder på vej (Ladies on their way)
This project has ben set up for non-Danish women, who want to find work and as a means of better integration.
It includes among other aspects: Danish lessons, writing CVs and job applications and an 8 week internship in a company. This can get you really well prepared and you'll get "the foot in the door".

It runs for 24 weeks, daily from 8:30-14:00. The first run starts in Oct 2009. So, hurry up.
Those of you who can't make it they have chances to get into it in January 2010, August 2010, January 2011, August 2011.

Of course there are some prereqs:
- you must not receive support from the Danish state it whatever form (S.U., kontanthjælp or dagpenge)
- your Danish must be on the level that you can follow the program. Something like module 4. But the program includes intensive Danish, so it gives a good chance to improve it.

If you are interested, please get in touch with
Susanne Legêne
Center for Beskæftigelse, sprog og Integration (CBSI)
Hejrevej 10, 2400 Kbh. NV, Tel. 26 77 02 71

See details about the program (in Danish).

Good luck,
Dagmar
