Hi, I'm finishing my PhD at DTU in several months and would like to ask any other EU-citizen fellows (I am Romanian myself) if they have any idea what our legal status in Denmark is after finishing a contract and (possibly) starting a new one - I am looking for jobs right now. Is it correct that we can have the right to reside for another 6 months with the right to work? (I currently have a certificate of residence which has been issued for my PhD, but it says it will expire at the end of my contract).

Or does the 6-month residence rule only apply to newcomers to Denmark?

Can anyone recommend a good AF organization to join? I am a professional who started working in May for a company in Jylland.
